People & Culture Specialist – IT Recruiter

We are a German, owner-managed company with more than 20 years of Nearshore experience. Our HQ is located in Munich, and the development centers are in Portugal, Tunisia, Bulgaria and Ukraine.


With quality first, we help our customers to become more valuable, to execute their product vision, and gain a competitive edge, by finding the right IT-experts for their team and bridging cultural gaps.

We find, recruit, assemble, and manage high-quality Development Teams. We enable our customers to achieve rapid upscale of high-class development with little financial risk and high flexibility. Hence their products can be delivered on time and quality.

At this moment there are more than 120 IT-experts working in the nearshorefriends group and 10 of them are located in Portugal. Therefore we look for a new team member, who would like to take care of all the existing employees, attract newcommers and collaborate closely with our German managing director of the company, currently situated in Portugal.


  • Identify and attract qualified IT professionals for positions in Portugal or Germany (relocation) through various channels using different types of searching methods
  • Participate in job briefings and collaborate with recruiters and clients to understand position requirements
  • Maintenance personnel system/database and related reports
  • Perform market research on candidate skill sets, demographics, and hiring trends
  • Partner with leaders within the company to track ongoing hiring needs
  • Oversee and improve overall candidate experience
  • Lead projects and initiatives to streamline the recruitment process
  • Maintain talent pipelines with potential candidates and past applicants for future staffing needs
  • Consult management team on the current recruitment trends
  • Make a job-offers and be familiar with salary calculation and current taxation


  • Over 2+ years of experience in recruiting and experience driving metrics-driven talent initiatives, with a particular focus on IT industry
  • Experience in developing a successful recruitment strategy
  • Familiarity with various assessment techniques and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Upper-Intermediate English
  • Big personal candidates database
  • Prior experience in HR research
  • Willingness to work and grow in HR area


  • Experience in nearshoring and German language would be a plus
